FOCUS 2026 - Technical insulation where energy loss is greatest

We are already well into the new year at Dan-iso A/S, and 2026 looks set to be a year where technical insulation will become even more important for both the energy industry and industry.

We clearly notice this in the dialogue with district heating plants, contractors and production companies:

Especially in the district heating sector, energy losses are increasingly taking centre stage in the professional debate. If you look at the trends in the industry – including in professional forums – the focus areas are clear:

• uninsulated valves, pumps and flanges, which account for some of the largest losses in the entire system.
• the need for solutions that are flexible in terms of servicing.
• operational optimization in everyday practice rather than major system changes.

But it's not just district heating that's on the move.

The process industry faces exactly the same challenges – just on an even larger scale.
