Our story

Dan-iso was founded as a private company on April 1, 1986 by Finn Pedersen. In the beginning, Dan-iso only had a few staff members. Operations started up in the former Havbro dairy premises and insulation shells for district heating were the only products.

In 1991, the corporate form was changed into a small private limited company (ApS) and in 1993; Dan-iso was converted into a limited company (A/S).

Dan-iso grows rapidly. In 1999, a new production plant becomes operational. Meanwhile, the construction of production plant no. 2 is started, and the building is ready for operations the following year.

During the autumn of 2005, a generational succession is implemented by means of a so-called “management buy-in”. Finn & Ebba Pedersen resign from the management, and Fin Højgaard takes up the position as Managing Director. Dan-iso is owned by Fin Højgaard and Industriudvikling II, a limited partnership (a venture company).

Erik H. Møller buys Dan-iso A/S and takes over January 1, 2018.
